Cream (shingles)

Shingles is a painful viral infection and skin condition that affects 10-20% of the population. The skin develops painful rashes and blisters that spread along a nerve pathway. Shingles is caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus. Therefore, you can only get shingles if you have had chickenpox. Treatment consists of painkillers and shingles cream to relieve pain and itching. Always ask your doctor for advice on treatment.

Shingles

Shingles is not dangerous but can be very painful. The risk increases the older you are and especially if you have a weakened immune system. The virus burns itself out after about a week. Fortunately, once you have had shingles, you will not get it again. If you are over 50 or have a weakened immune system, your doctor will treat you with anti-viral medication.

For pain, you can use ordinary painkillers. If it hurts a lot, your doctor may prescribe morphine. Shingles cream can be Lidocaine or another disinfectant cream.

Healing Ground Mobile
The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The local Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites. The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
