Acne is a problematic skin condition, which unfortunately affects a great many of us. You are not alone, but that does not make it any better. These can be in the form of creams, tablets, and antibiotics, but good face care to reduce and prevent acne vital.

Acne is caused by overproduction of sebum by the sebaceous glands. It is the male sex hormone, both in men and women, that increases the production of sebum and causes clogged glands and pores. In these conditions the acne bacteria rapidly multiply and this causes inflammation and pus-filled spots. You can get treatment for the bacteria from your doctor, but good skin hygiene is also important.

To prevent spots and congested skin you need to wash your skin thoroughly. Face Wash from Australian bodycare with Tea Tree Oil is effective in reducing and preventing spots and congested skin. It ensures that the bacteria are controlled as when you wash your face thoroughly, you make it harder for them to mass together. After using the face wash it is very beneficial to use a moisturiser to restore the skin’s moisture. Our Face Cream with Tea Tree Oil is excellent for this.

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The local Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites. The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
