Our customers love us
Are you looking for a facial serum that you can use daily to care for your skin with pimples, blackheads, and other blemishes? A serum that both adds moisture, reduces pore size, and protects the skin?
Blemish Serum from Australian Bodycare contains antibacterial Tea Tree Oil, Zinc and Niacinamide and is specially developed to nourish and care for a blemished skin. The unique combination of ingredients minimizes pimples, blackheads, and breakout.
How to get the most out of your serum
To get the full effect of your Blemish Serum, you should combine it with the rest of the face products from Australian Bodycare.
Use the entire range twice a day – both morning and evening.
1) Remove makeup and then cleanse your skin thoroughly. We recommend Australian Bodycare Face Wash. After cleansing with Face Wash, apply a deep cleansing skin tonic with a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck. We recommend Face Tonic from the same series. Do not rinse off the tonic.
2) Apply a few drops of Blemish Serum on the freshly cleansed face and neck and massage in well. The serum will instantly penetrate the pores of the skin and let the active ingredients work. Do not rinse off.
3) Finish with a nourishing layer of cream. Face Cream forms a protective layer on the skin and can be used both day and night.
Blemish Serum works for all skin types - even if you have sensitive skin. The product is dermatologically tested and classified as skin friendly.
Why should I use serum?
Serum is skin care in a very concentrated form. The Blemish Serum is filled with good and nourishing ingredients for your skin. Serum has a more liquid consistency than you are used to from your day and night cream. This enables serum to penetrate even deeper into the skin.
You should always apply face cream after serum.
The cream forms a protective layer on the skin, whereas serum penetrates deeper. It is therefore recommended that you always use both. Serum provides in-depth and intensive care of the skin, while cream maintains the skin's healthy barrier function keeping it protected throughout the day.
Why does Blemish Serum work?
Blemish Serum is based on 3 effective and natural assets, Tea Tree Oil, Zinc and Niacinamide, which work together for a clear skin free from pimples, blemishes, and blackheads.
The serum is suitable for all skin types.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) improves skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, pimples, and blackheads. Most people will benefit greatly from a serum with Niacinamide, as the ingredient is known for ensuring a healthy and glowing skin.
Zinc counteracts skin irritation and accelerates the healing of wounds, small tears, and blemishes. This makes the ingredient highly suitable for a skin with pimples.
Tea Tree Oil counteracts bacteria to minimize future breakouts, pimples, and blackheads.
Why should I cleanse my face twice a day?
If you want to get rid of spots and skin blemishes, it is important that you cleanse your skin twice a day. The skin should be kept clean and free from bacteria, excess sebum, makeup residue and the like.
You should always cleanse your face in the evening before going to bed to remove bacteria, makeup residue, and dead skin cells. If you fail to cleanse your skin in the evening, you risk clogged pores which can lead to more blemishes.
It is important to cleanse the skin in the morning as well. Your skin regenerates during the night, and you should therefore cleanse your skin in the morning to get rid of excess sebum and sweat. If you do not cleanse your skin in the morning, bacteria and dirt can clog your pores and develop into pimples and blackheads.
Use the products in the Face Kit for a good evening and morning cleanse. Combine the products in the face kit with the Blemish Serum for optimal results.
1-2 times a week, you can use the deep cleansing Face Mask. Face Mask is clay-based and gently cleanses and exfoliates your skin in-depth. Use it after Face Wash but before skin tonic, serum, and cream.
Who will benefit from the product?
The Blemish Serum can be used by all skin types. However, for a mature skin with fine lines, we recommend Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid. The Hyaluronic Acid retains the moisture in the skin, so fine lines are reduced, and the skin achieves a nice and healthy glow.
However, everyone can benefit from Blemish Serum with Niacinamide. Niacinamide leaves the skin healthy and with a nice glow. Niacinamide leaves the skin tone more even, pores smaller and reduces pigment spots and other skin blemishes.
The content of Tea Tree Oil and Zinc makes the serum particularly suitable for people with blemished skin, as both are known to reduce pimples, blackheads, and other face blemishes.
The product is suitable for all skin types and men as well as women.

About Tea Tree Oil
The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.
The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
