Description
If you struggle with ingrown hairs, red bumps and irritated skin after shaving, you'll no doubt benefit from using the products in the pack.
The products in the pack can help you if you:
- Suffers from thick and stringy hair that causes problems after shaving
- Tend to develop ingrown hairs
- Tired of red razor bumps
How to use the products in the pack
You should use the 4 products every time you need to shave your body, for example your legs or arms.
1) Body Wash - shower gel cleanses the skin
It is important to wash the skin clean and at the same time open up the pores with the warm water, so that the hairs can be removed more easily and skin problems are prevented.
Spread the product on wet skin and then rinse thoroughly.
2) Body Scrub – exfoliates the skin free of dead skin cells
You'll ensure that the razor glides over the skin more easily and you'll get a cleaner, smoother shave if you first remove dead skin cells with a good body scrub.
Massage the scrub grains into clean, wet skin in circular motions. Thoroughly rinse off all grains of skin when you're done.
3) Shave Oil – softening shaving oil for the whole body
The oil makes the hairs stand up and forms a smooth surface on the skin, so the razor glides more easily and you minimise the occurrence of ingrown hairs and red bumps when shaving.
Apply the shaving oil to the clean, damp skin in the bath that you want to shave. Leave on for a few moments before using the razor. Rinse off excess oil and hair residue when you're done.
4) Aftershave balm – soothing lotion after shaving
After-shave care is important. Skin is exposed after shaving, so it's important to keep pores protected. Body Balm relieves skin irritation and soothes the skin, minimising razor bumps and ingrown hairs.
Smooth onto shaved skin to protect and condition. Apply several times daily and in the days after shaving as needed. The cream can be used for daily moisturising of the whole body - even areas that have not been shaved.
Of course, you can use both shower gel and aftershave balm for daily skin care, and you can use the shaving oil all over your body - including your face.
The products can be used by both men and women and are suitable for all skin types. The products are dermatologically tested and rated skin friendly.
Why do I get red razor bumps after shaving?
The red bumps after shaving occur because your hair follicles and pores are open and susceptible to bacteria after you've run the razor. If you don't keep your skin clean and free of bacteria before, during and after shaving, you risk red bumps, which in the worst case can develop into razor bumps.
That's why products with germ-fighting Tea Tree Oil are a good idea. Tea Tree Oil is known to keep skin healthy and free from razor bumps and other irritation after shaving.
Why does ingrown hair occur?
An ingrown hair grows into the skin instead of out. A hair will grow back into the skin if it can't penetrate, for example if you wear very tight clothes (and especially after shaving), or if dead skin cells, dirt or grease are blocking the hair from growing out through the skin.
So it's a good idea to exfoliate regularly - especially before shaving - and avoid tight synthetic clothes that can rub and irritate the skin after shaving. This includes nylon stockings or workout clothes.
Will the products help me?
The products can be used by both men and women and are suitable for use on the whole body. The products not only combat red bumps and ingrown hairs, but also have a preventative effect on skin problems related to shaving. You can therefore use the products even if you do not immediately experience skin irritation.
The moisturising shaving oil leaves your skin saturated and with a smooth, beautiful finish, so everyone can benefit from using the oil for shaving. If you use all the products in this pack, you're guaranteed a great shave every time.
We particularly recommend this pack for those who...
- Suffer from red razor bumps and skin irritation after hair removal.
- Have stringy and heavy hairs, which often end up as ingrown hairs.
- Want a nice and smooth result from the shave.

About Tea Tree Oil
The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.
The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
