Description

What Does Body Cream Do?

It can be a vicious circle when the skin dries out and becomes damaged. The skin needs a lot of energy to heal itself again, and sometimes it does not build enough strength to prevent new damage. This is precisely why Body Cream intensive repair exists. As a kind of first aid to the skin, it effectively treats dehydrated and damaged skin with active natural ingredients; Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil. Once treated Body Cream keeps working to prevent the damage from reoccurring.

Why is Tea Tree Oil good for the skin?

It is not healthy for the skin if unwanted bacteria build up on the skin. They can cause many different skin problems. The natural Australian Tea Tree Oil in our Body Cream maintains the balance of the skin’s natural bacterial flora and promotes healing.

The antibacterial properties of high quality Tea Tree Oil heals and soothes the skin, giving additional care when it is very dry and damaged. Dry skin cracks very easily, and although the cracks are often invisible to the naked eye, bacteria can get stuck in them and prevent the skin from growing back together. A healthy skin is a clean and moisturised skin.

Does the cream help create a good moisture balance?

Yes, and a moisturised and elastic skin is much more resilient to new damage. The cream helps maintain the skin's natural moisture balance making it less susceptible.

A dry and damaged skin feels uncomfortable and itchy, our Body Cream has added allantoin, which reduces irritation and sooths damaged skin. These soothing and preventive ingredients also help to soften and reduce the appearance of hard skin.

How do I use the cream?

The video shows how to use Body Cream, Body Scrub, Body Wash and Body Lotion.

The cream is applied as needed and rubbed into the dry and damaged areas with gentle, massaging movements. Specially areas such as elbows, knees, heels and hands which can suffer from very dry skin. Apply several times a day if necessary. The cream is lovely for daily use as it is absorbed quickly and does not leave a greasy residue.

It may be a good idea to supplement Body Cream with our Body Lotion, which also works as a prevention to dry skin.

If you need to get on top of dry and damaged areas, buy Body Cream – intense repair and give caring first aid to your skin.

About Tea Tree Oil

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.

The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.

The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
