How do I use the mouthwash?

It varies how often and for how long you should use Chlorhexidine mouthwash to relieve your discomfort. Some people need to use the product 2-3 times a day for up to 3 weeks before they experience an effect. Others only use the product as needed when they feel sore gums or if they experience blisters or similar in their mouth. It will therefore be very individual how often and for how long the product should be used.

It is recommended to stop using Chlorhexidine products after 2-3 weeks (with daily use). This is because Chlorhexidine can cause temporary tooth discolouration and taste disturbances with prolonged use. This will quickly disappear when you stop using products containing Chlorhexidine.
