Description
You should rinse your skin both morning and evening. When you rinse your skin in the morning, you are removing sweat and sebum produced during the night, whilst in the evening you rinse off bacteria and makeup. After a rinse you should always moisturise your skin, both morning and evening
When you use a night cream, you can rest assured that your skin is protected and cared for after a long day of events, so that the skin has time to regenerate, while you are sleeping. The healthy moisture balance is restored, while the skin benefits from the active ingredients in the night cream.
This is how you use night cream
Always rinse your skin, before applying cream. Use a face wash, which you massage into wet skin. Rinse off thoroughly once you’re done. Repeat, if you have been using makeup during the day or if you have oily skin or a lot of pimples. It will benefit you to finish the cleanse by applying skin tonic, which cleanses the pores and prevents breakouts.
If you are using a face serum, you should apply it before the night cream. When it comes to the night cream, a little goes a long way, so you only need to use a small amount at the time. If you have dry skin, you might benefit from applying a bigger amount of cream, than what you would do during the day. During the night the cream has plenty of time to be absorbed and do it’s magic, while you are sleeping.
You can also use the night cream during the day, as it has a protective function and nourishes the skin the same way as it would during the night. Simply apply the night cream after cleansing your face and remember to also apply a cream with SPF if it’s sunny out.
Why should I use a night cream?
If your skin is dry, or if you have a tendency to overproduce sebum, which causes pimples and oily skin, it’s important to use a good and nourishing face cream – both morning and evening.
If you have oily skin, you shouldn’t skip the step of using night – or day cream. An oily layer on the skin is actually telling you that the sebum production is not balanced. This can happen if your skin has been craving moisture over a longer period of time, as moisture helps the skin maintain its protective barrier.
You can reduce the overproduction of sebum and stop the negative spiral with oily or dry skin by adding moisture and protection. Use the night cream every evening after cleansing your face.
Prepare yourself for the fact that your skin might need 4-5 weeks to adjust to the new product, and start showing results. During this period you may experience and increase in sebum or pimples – this is simply the skins natural cleansing process. It will improve if you stick to using the face products regularly for a month or so.
Also remember to use the moisturizer as a day cream, so that the skin is protected from external factors throughout the day.
Does the face cream work for both dry skin and pimples?
The night cream is suitable dry skin, oily skin and impure skin with pimples and blackheads.
The moisturising face cream is made from Shea butter, Macademia oil and Argan oil, which adds moisture and glow to the face. The skin is left soft, without clogged pores. This way the night cream helps maintain the healthy moisture levels of the skin, while protecting it.
The bacteria resistant Tea Tree Oil prevents itch and skin irritation, but also has a preventative effect on pimples and blackheads. The Australian oil keeps the skin healthy and with a natural balance, which is why night cream is suitable all skin types and multiple different skin problems.
Can I use my night cream during the day?
For sure, there is nothing wrong with using the night cream during the day. Whether you call it a night cream or day cream doesn’t matter much. Some night creams have higher contents of oils, which can make it feel heavier on the skin, which is why many prefer to use them at night. Besides this, day cream often contains SPF, which isn’t necessary during the night.
But to sum it up, all creams can be used at any time of the day. It’s the ingredients of the product that nourishes your skin, not the time that your use it. A night cream won’t be able to tell if it’s being applied during the day or at night, so this won’t effect it’s qualities and the great ingredients it’s exposing your skin to.
The night cream from Australian Bodycare works both day and night. It moisturises and protects the skin – whether you use it as a night cream or a day cream.
What products should I combine with the night cream?
In order to assure proper absorbation of the creams great qualities and ingredients it’s very important, that you rinse your skin before applying the night cream. We recommend that you use the face kit with 4 daily cleansing products for the skin. The face cream is also included in this.

About Tea Tree Oil
The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.
The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
