Description

Do you experience sore or irritated pimples on your scalp? Spots can be quite painful, e.g., when combing your hair or touching the scalp.

If you have pimples along the hairline or behind your ears, they might also be a cosmetic problem.

The 2 hair products help you reduce and prevent pimples and spots on the scalp.

How to use the products to get rid of spots on the scalp

Tea Tree Shampoo

Every time you wash your hair, use the shampoo. Tea Tree Oil shampoo is - as the name suggests - based on the natural, Australian oil, which is known for its abilities to keep skin clean and healthy.

Apply shampoo to wet hair and scalp. You will create a nice lather as you massage the product into the scalp. Pay special attention to the areas with pimples and spots. Massage for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water.

We recommend that you double wash your hair. This ensures that product build up, excess sebum, and bacteria are thoroughly cleansed away, and that the active ingredients of the shampoo are allowed to work in depth.

After the second hair wash, it is important to rinse hair and scalp thoroughly. If not rinsed thoroughly, shampoo residue can clog pores and hair follicles and cause more pimples.

If you have long hair, you might want to use a conditioner as well to avoid dry, brittle hair.

Scalp Scrub

1-2 times a week, we recommend deep cleaning your scalp with the scrub. Scalp Scrub gently exfoliates your scalp to remove dead skin cells, sebum, dirt, and product build-up.

Apply Scalp Scrub to wet hair and scalp. Use your fingertips to distribute the product and massage into the scalp. Then rinse thoroughly.

Scalp Scrub functions as both a scrub and shampoo. You can double wash with the scalp scrub if you want to exfoliate further.

Most people, however, prefer using the Tea Tree shampoo for the second wash to be absolute sure that all grains are thoroughly removed from hair and scalp. Finish with conditioner if necessary.

Why do I have pimples on my scalp?

Pimples and spots on the scalp or along the hairline are caused by an overproduction of sebum clogging the pores and glands. When bacteria settle in the clogged pores, it can create an inflammatory condition, which might develop into pimples.

The scalp products cleanse the scalp free from excess sebum and bacteria and thus help in reducing and preventing pimples and other skin blemishes from forming.

How do the products work?

The kit consists of 2 hair products that help you achieve a healthy scalp free from pimples and bacteria.

The Tea Tree Shampoo restores the healthy balance of the scalp due to the natural Tea Tree Oil. The oil counteracts the bacteria that can be the cause of spots on the scalp.

The Tea Tree Oil Shampoo also contains coconut oil, which adds moisture to hair and scalp. This leaves the scalp strengthened and well moisturized. A moisturized scalp will be less likely to produce excess sebum thus reducing clogged pores and pimples.

Scalp scrub gently exfoliates the scalp and removes dirt, styling products as well as dead skin cells and blemishes. The product contains crushed apricot kernels, which exfoliate the scalp in depth.

After use, hair and scalp will feel completely clean, and the hair will appear more voluminous and airier. Your scalp will be able to breathe freely again, and after 2-3 weeks of consistent use of the products, your pimples will be visibly reduced.

About Tea Tree Oil

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.

The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.

The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
