Description

Do you experience red and irritated skin folds on your body?

Apply a protective layer of Rescue Cream from Australian Bodycare to avoid and prevent redness, irritation, and friction between the thighs, under the arms, and around other skin folds on the body.

How should I use the barrier cream?

Rescue Cream is a barrier cream that forms a protective layer on sensitive and exposed skin. The cream cares for the irritated and red skin that often occur between the thighs, under the arms or breasts. When skin rubs against other skin or clothing, it can create friction, which leads to redness and soreness. This is called intertrigo, and you can prevent it using the barrier cream.

Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying Rescue Cream.

Apply a suitable layer of barrier cream on the skin area that is exposed and at risk of friction. The cream relieves irritated skin and has a preventive effect on the skin area that is exposed.

You may need to reapply the Rescue Cream during the day. 2 applications will in most cases last throughout the day.

Rescue Cream should not be used on open wounds, tears, or cracks in the skin.

Where can I use Rescue Cream?

Some skin areas of the body are more exposed than others.

Friction is almost impossible to avoid completely but you can use a barrier cream to reduce and prevent skin irritation.

Friction occurs when skin rubs against another skinfold or against tight-fitting clothing. Moisture (e.g., sweat) on the skin makes the friction worse. Rescue Cream locks in moisture and sweat to avoid the irritation it can cause.

Some areas on the body are more prone to friction than others, this includes:

  • Skin folds around the crotch
  • Under the breasts
  • Inner thighs

Red and irritated skin is almost inevitable when wearing certain types of clothing or footwear, e.g., for sports or work. Bras, tights, and safety shoes often cause major problems with irritated skin. Rescue Cream can help avoid the irritated skin if applied daily.

Which ingredients do the product contain?

Rescue Cream is made from a unique ingredient mix that retains the moisture in the skin and reduces the friction that can lead to red, sore, and damaged skin.

Rescue Cream contains lactic acid esters that act antiseptically, while other assets such as zinc and macadamia oil keep moisture away from the surface of the skin and protect against abrasion and friction. The barrier cream is water-repellent, which means that sweat and other moisture on the skin does not create irritation between the buttocks, under the arms, between the thighs or in other skin folds.

In addition to protecting against and preventing redness and irritation, Rescue Cream also keeps the skin soft and cares for skin that might already be red and sore.

About Tea Tree Oil

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.

The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.

The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
