Description

Does your scalp feel itchy and dry? Are you experiencing a bit more dandruff than you'd like? Or do you suffer from hair loss or oily scalp?

Scalp massage can help minimise your hair and scalp problems. Give yourself a nice scalp massage with the Australian Bodycare Scalp Brush, for example when washing your hair.

Give your scalp the conditions it needs to be free of dandruff, itchiness, dryness or excess sebum by combining the Scalp Pack with the Australian Bodycare Scalp Brush.

You can also use the Scalp Brush with the products in the Hair Loss range if you are experiencing hair loss, receding hairline or thinning.

The Scalp Brush is especially recommended for those who:

  • Will get rid of itchiness, dryness and irritation as scalp massage increases blood circulation and helps restore balance to the scalp.
  • Suffer from oily scalp or dandruff as the massage brush cleanses dead skin cells, excess sebum, styling products and dirt.
  • Love a good scalp massage and want to give your hair and scalp a helping hand with dandruff, dryness or hair loss.

How to use the Scalp Brush

Wet the hair and distribute shampoo through hair and scalp. We recommend Hair Clean shampoo if you have dandruff, dry, itchy or oily scalp.

If you experience hair loss or thinning, we recommend Hair Loss Wash

Give yourself a scalp massage with the Scalp Brush, which ensures that the shampoo is both distributed and lathered well into the hair and scalp. Place the bristles of the massage brush on your scalp and gently move the scalp brush in circular motions, gently pressing it against your scalp. Massage the entire scalp or areas where you experience dandruff, dryness, itchiness or other scalp problems.

Don't move the scalp brush in large circular motions as this can filter your hair and tug too much on strands and roots - instead, let the bristles on the brush work for you.

When you're done with your scalp massage, rinse your hair and scalp completely clean of shampoo. You can continue to massage the scalp with the Scalp Brush while rinsing the scalp completely clean and free of product. Then continue your washing routine, e.g. with Hair Care Conditioner.

When you are finished, rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water and store it in a dry place, ready for use the next time you need to massage your scalp.

The Scalp Brush can be used every time you wash your hair, but can also be used on dry hair and scalp on days when you don't wash or rinse your hair.

Get a healthy scalp with scalp massage

Healthy hair starts in the scalp, which is why scalp massage is a great idea if you want to ensure optimal conditions for growing beautiful, healthy hair.

The Scalp Brush removes dead skin cells and dandruff from the scalp, and the comfortable bristles on the brush provide a stimulating scalp massage while you wash your hair and scalp clean.

The Scalp Brush can be used for daily scalp massage, so you can use it on both wet and dry hair.

The massage brush is suitable for all hair types and you can use it for normal, dry and oily scalps. In combination with the scalp products or the products in the hair loss series, the Scalp Brush can help restore balance to your scalp and contribute to healthy hair.

The soft bristles of the brush exfoliate the scalp, effectively massaging away dead skin cells, dandruff and debris as you pamper your scalp with a massage. When you massage the scalp with the Scalp Brush using gentle pressure and circular movements, you stimulate your scalp and hair roots, creating the conditions for beautiful, healthy hair and a balanced scalp.

About Tea Tree Oil

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.

The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.

The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
