Herpes cream can help if you suffer from cold sores caused by the Herpes Simplex virus. If you've already contracted herpes once, it will stay with you, but there's a lot you can do to make it cheaper the next time an outbreak is on its way. You probably recognise that little red area around your mouth that starts to itch. It's a sign that an outbreak is coming and now is the time to act fast.
The treatment for herpes is Zovir, an anti-viral herpes cream that slows down the outbreak. The earlier you get treatment, the better. It's especially good if you can apply the cream before you start developing blisters. It's much harder to contain the outbreak once blisters and sores have appeared. Zovir is available from pharmacies without a prescription.
Herpes is highly contagious, so it's very important that you don't spread it. In particular, don't give in to the temptation to scratch.
