Mild odour from the intimate area is quite natural - but for some people, the odour becomes a problem, e.g. with incontinence, excessive vaginal discharge, problems with sweat odour or other conditions that make the odour very strong and therefore undesirable.
If you suffer from strong and unwanted odour from your genitals or vagina, it may be a good idea to see a doctor if you don't know what the problem is.
If you are struggling with unwanted odour in your everyday life, you can take daily care of your intimate area with the intimate products in the kit. The products help you reduce and prevent intimate problems such as unwanted odour, itching or burning.
This is how you use the products
The kit consists of 4 products that can be used daily if you need to. Whether you need to use all products every day depends on your intimate problems.
Intimate soap
Intimate soap should be used daily. It cleans your intimate area in an effective yet gentle way, preserving good bacterial flora while washing away bad and unwanted odours.
Apply an appropriate amount of intimate soap to the wet intimate area and massage gently. Be thorough around the vaginal opening, as bacteria that can cause bad odours often collect here. When you're done, rinse thoroughly.
Intimate Deodorant
Intimate deodorant is both easy and convenient to use if you want to prevent or minimise odour. The intimate deodorant can be sprayed in the intimate area in the morning to keep it fresh throughout the day. You can also carry the deodorant in your bag so you can freshen up during the day if the need arises.
Shake the bottle before use and spray directly in the intimate area where you experience odours. You can also spray your panties for even better protection against strong and unwanted intimate odours. You can use Intimate Deo as many times a day as you want and need.
Intimate wet wipes
Intimate Wet Wipes - like Intimate Deo - can be carried in your bag and used throughout the day if you need a refresher in the intimate area. For example, if you have a lot of vaginal discharge or if you suffer from incontinence.
Take a tissue out of the packet and wipe your intimate area. Throw the used tissue in the rubbish bin when you're done. Make sure to close the packet tightly again, otherwise you risk drying out the remaining wet wipes.
Femi Daily intimate gel
Femi Daily intimate gel keeps the moisture balance in the intimate area intact. Drying out can aggravate unwanted odour. Femi Daily also prevents itching, burning or other intimate irritation that often goes hand in hand with unwanted odour.
Squeeze out a small dollop of intimate gel (it's gentle to use) and apply to the intimate area. Allow plenty of time for the gel to dry before getting dressed if necessary. We recommend applying the gel in the evening so that it can work throughout the night.
Why do I struggle with unwanted smell down there?
A slight odour from the genital area is usually completely normal and nothing to worry about. When your intimate area is in balance, it probably smells slightly acidic, as the pH down there is acidic.
However, if there is an imbalance, the odour can change. This can be caused by a number of things, including vaginal thrush, bacterial vaginosis or similar. If you are unsure about your symptoms, you should always consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
If the unpleasant odour appears during sex, it may be caused by semen, which has an alkaline value. This messes up the woman's intimate area, where the pH is acidic, disrupting the natural intimate balance and can lead to bad odour.
Unwanted odour down there can also be caused by incontinence, illness/medication or similar. Fortunately, the unwanted and often unpleasant odour can be prevented and minimised with the products in the package.
All products are based on Australian Tea Tree Oil, which is known to keep the skin healthy and in natural balance and minimise bacteria that can cause intimate problems with unwanted odour.
What do I do, if the products don't work?
Should the products - against expectations - not work as desired, you can of course make use of the satisfaction guarantee. Read more about terms and conditions here.
