Description
Are you looking for products that can minimize ingrown hair and red bumps after intimate shaving?
The 3 products in the intimate shaving kit minimize and prevent spots, ingrown hair and irritation caused by intimate shaving.
How do I use the products?
If you use the 3 products in the intimate shaving kit, you are well protected against spots, ingrown hair, redness, and irritation after shaving your intimate area.
1. Intim Wash
It is important that you first wash the intimate area thoroughly with the intimate soap to remove bacteria before you start shaving.
Apply the product to wet skin and massage it to create a nice lather. Apply the product thoroughly to remove all bacteria. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
2. Intim Shave
The intimate shaving gel is transparent to help you avoid painful accidents with the razor. Intim Shave ensures a clean and smooth shave and prevents bacteria from penetrating the exposed skin during shaving.
Apply the gel to the skin and let sit for 1 min. Shave in the direction of hair growth to achieve a smooth and good-looking shave. Rinse off excess product and hair residue when you are done.
3. Intim Balm
When you have finished your shaving and shower, it is important to take good care of the newly shaved and sensitive skin.
Pat yourself dry with a towel after your shower and apply a generous layer of Intim Balm. Allow the products some time to absorb before putting on clothes.
You can use the intim balm several times a day to hydrate and soothe the delicate skin. You might need to apply the Intim Balm a few times a day in the following days (after hair removal) to minimize redness and itching.
Important: Intim Balm should not be rinsed off after application. Please wait a moment before putting on clothes. This will allow the skin to absorb the product and allow it to breathe after the irritating the skin by shaving.
If you have severe problems with ingrown hairs and irritation in the intimate area after shaving, it may be an idea to exfoliate your skin before hair removal. We recommend using Body Scrub for a gentle exfoliation of the intimate parts.
Use Body Scrub after Intim Wash but before shaving. Remember to rinse off excess product thoroughly before applying Intim Shave and beginning the shave.
What can I use the products for?
The intimate soap, shaving gel and the intimate balm contain antibacterial Tea Tree Oil that helps you avoid ingrown hairs, shaving spots, redness, and irritation after hair removal.
All 3 products are suitable for use in the intimate area, and they are dermatologically tested thus suitable for all skin types - even if you have sensitive skin.
We especially recommend the intimate shaving kit for:
- Itching, redness, and irritation after hair removal in the intimate area
- Ingrown hair and red spots after intimate shaving
- A nice and smooth intimate shave free of bumps
About the products in the intimate shaving kit
The kit contains 3 products: Intim Wash (200 ml.) - Intim Shave (100 ml.) and Intim Balm (100 ml.).
If you suffer from red bumps, ingrown hair, or razor burn, we recommend that you use all 3 products in the kit every time you shave in the intimate area.
What are the benefits of Intim Wash?
The intimate soap uses natural Tea Tree Oil, lactic acid, and vitamin C from cockatoo plum to protect you from rash, redness, ingrown hair, and other skin problems after intimate shaving. The lactic acid cleanses and refreshes the skin, while the antibacterial effect of Tea Tree Oil counteracts the bacteria that can cause irritation after intimate shaving.
What are the benefits of Intim Shave?
The shaving gel Intim Shave contains antibacterial Tea Tree Oil, which counteracts bacteria and keeps the skin healthy and clean during shaving.
The intimate shaving gel is completely transparent and easy to use. The transparent product makes it easy to see what you are doing when you shave and helps you avoid painful accidents.
What are the benefits of Intim Balm?
Intim Balm reduces the risk of pimples, ingrown hair and redness after intimate shaving or hair removal. The after-shave balm contains natural assets such as Allantoin, Tasmanian Pepperberry and antibacterial Tea Tree Oil that effectively prevent discomfort after intimate shaving.
Tasmanian Pepperberry has a calming effect on the skin and reduces redness, while Allantoin adds moisture, so the skin recovers quickly.
It is therefore a really good idea to nourish the skin with Intim Balm in the days after shaving, where the skin remains exposed and sensitive because of the hair removal. You do not need to wash the intimate area before applying Intimate Balm.
Why is it important to avoid bacteria?
Spots from shaving form from bacteria that settle in the open pores after shaving. The bacteria create an inflammatory condition, which can turn them into bumps or ingrown hair.
Therefore, hygiene and the right products are important if you want to avoid shaving rash and ingrown hair. This not only applies to intimate shaving but to hair removal on the face, legs, and armpits as well.
The antibacterial and natural Tea Tree Oil is part of all products in the kit. The oil removes the bacteria that cause irritation after intimate shaving. In combination with the ingredients in the products, it cares for the skin, so you achieve a soft, healthy, and smooth skin.

About Tea Tree Oil
The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The lolacl Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites.
The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
The products from Australian Bodycare contain natural, antiseptic Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia). Tea Tree Oil has been known and used by Australian Aborigines for centuries because of its powerful antiseptic effects. Tea Tree Oil has been added to all Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil products in different concentrations, depending on which skin problem the products is developed to combat and where on the body it is to be used. Our product series is tailored for the entire family: It prevents and treats the most common skin problems—all while staying gentle on the skin.
