How do I use the products correctly?
The complete kit consists of 3 products that will help you avoid red bumps and other skin irritation after shaving or other types of hair removal. Follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Wash your legs with Body Wash. Massage the product into your skin, so that it foams up. This way you can be sure that all bacteria is rinsed away from the skin, before you start shaving. Rinse the product off before moving onto the next step.
2. Exfoliate the skin on your legs with Body Scrub. Distribute the product onto the clean, wet skin with circular motions, and be especially thorough on the legs that you are about to shave. Once you're done and have rinsed both of your legs, you're ready to start shaving.
3. Calm and soothe your skin with Body Balm. Once you're done shaving and have cleansed your skin, you can move on to drying your skin with a towel. The time has now come to apply a thin layer of Body Balm onto the legs, in order to avoid bumps and irritation on the skin.
For the shaving itself, we recommend that you use a clear Shave Gel. This way you can see what you're doing, and make it easier for the blade to glide across the skin, without irritating.
If you are searching for products for an efficient intimate shave without red bumps, rashes, itchiness and irritation, we recommend our package for intimate shaving with 3 products.
Why are the products so efficient? All of the products contain the bacteria restistant Tea Tree oil that effectively removes bacteria from your skin before and after shaving. This way you can avoid irritation, itchiness and redness, as well as prevent red bumps and ingrown hairs after shaving.
Body Wash
Body Wash cleanses the skin efficiently and gets rid of bacteria before you start the shaving process. The Body Wash has a skin-friendly pH, and the bacteria-resistant Tea Tree oil cleanses the skin deeply.
While you’re washing your skin with Body Wash, make sure there’s no dirt, sweat or bacteria left on the skin, so that it can’t penetrate the skin whilst shaving, and later develop into red bumps, irritation, redness, rashes or ingrown hairs.
Body Scrub
Body Scrub can be used after Body Wash, but prior to hair removal. A good scrub allows you to cleanse your skin properly, unblocking your pores and ridding your body of dead skin cells. It ensures a closer shave, and whilst shaving, a smooth, clean skin reduces the risk of cutting yourself. Body Scrub is completely free from Sulfates and contributes to the skin’s natural pH levels.
We recommend that you use Body scrub before shaving, if you tend to struggle with ingrown hairs, red bumps and rashes. In addition you can use Body Scrub weekly in order to give yourself a soft, refreshed skin, and in order to reduce the occurence of pimples, sebum and blackheads on your body.
Body Balm
You should always spoil your skin a little extra after shaving. Your legs can always use some extra care after hair removal, so please don’t skip Body Balm if you want to avoid ingrown hairs and red bumps.
Tea tree oil prevents bacteria from clogging pores after shaving, while the natural Tasmanian Pepper cools the skin down and prevents redness and burn after hair removal.
You can combine the use of Body Balm with Australian Bodycare's Body Lotion if you need extra moisture to the skin on your body.
